Big Boo Comes Home
My dear friend "Diedre" is having a special Mother's Day today. She gets to bring her son, "Big Boo" home. He's been gone for 3 years. During that time she has visited him weekly, bringing to him his son "Little Boo" so that while she raised Little Boo, he would know who his daddy was and wouldn't be introduced to a stranger when his daddy came home.
For 3 years she has gone to bed every night knowing that her son wasn't in a safe place. For 3 years she has been helpless to protect him. For 3 years she has put her life on hold, has raised a baby when she thought she was finished with babies.
For 3 years she has had to concern herself with day care and nightmares. And she has done it with dignity and grace.
So today she gets her reward. Big Boo comes home. I can't even imagine how she's done it, but today is her day. Today all good thing, Diedre, today is all good things. And it is the beginning of good things. No more bad things for you.
