Friday (the 13th) Five!
1. Are you superstitious?
Nope. I don't believe in coincidences either however. I do things like knock on my head ("knock on wood") sometimes, but I don't actively believe it. I open umbrellas inside and walk under ladders.
2. What extremes have you heard of someone going to in the name of superstition?
I suppose sports players have the most extreme superstitions I've heard of. Going through rituals to the point that it interferes with life is, to me, more than a superstition, it's more like an OCD.
3. Believer or not, what's your favorite superstition?
If you wash your car it will rain (or snow) the next day. I have been responsible for a fair share of weather!
4. Do you believe in luck? If yes, do you have a lucky number/article of clothing/ritual?
I believe in dumb luck, like in cards and such. I believe in karma, although I don't think you are necessarily going to have the pleasure of watching what goes around coming back around. But is DOES come back around. I believe that "the love you take is equal to the love you make." I have no lucky trinkets. I wear my wedding ring and my gold necklace all the time because I feel incomplete without them.
5. Do you believe in astrology? Why or why not?
Not really. I fit the description of Scorpio to a tee! It's like they are talking straight to me, but I know many Scorpio's who are nothing like me at all. I have to admit though that I've been around some really scary people and they frequently turn out to be Gemini.
