If you want to know how it all began, click HERE for the FIRST entry. At the top of each post you can click "NEXT ENTRY" and so on. It might make a bit more sense that way, and you might stumble upon one of my better postings in case this one sorta just sucks! CLICK HERE for a RANDOM ENTRY. Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003 - 9:12 P.M. GO CUBS! Supporting the millions of fools who are, through no fault of their own, Chicago Cubs fans. (That's not my quote, it's from the ribbon site) Yes. IBeaCubsFan. Always been. After years and years of practice, I've been a rather quiet fan. But when asked, I don't lie, I don't back off, but I state my fanship and brace for the barrage of insults and questions about my sanity that I've come to accept as part of the game. So now, in the bottom of the 7th inning, Game 5 of the Playoffs, Cubs winning 3-0, 2 outs, crowd roaring, I find that I'm having a hard time actually WATCHING the game. I'm so nervous. I want them to win, I want to FEEL that they'll win. No, I want to KNOW that they'll win. And I do. I DO! Kinda. Sorta. But the crappy thing is that if...I mean when they win, and they go to the WORLD SERIES....I'll hear the same garbage every day no matter how many games we win. Choking sounds, snorts and giggles and guffaws. Until we win it all. Yeah. YEAH! GO CUBS! Won't you PLEASE leave your feedback here? 0 readers left their mark on this one!
