Eep. Went out for a gathering of the DCL last night. I am getting old. I didn't want to go. Not at all. Not that I didn't want to see my old friends, I did! I also wanted to have a good time with them, have a drink (or 5). But I didn't want to GO. I didn't want to get my ass up and dressed and get in the car and drive for an hour and get out of the car and walk into the place. If I could have just transplanted them in my house it would have been easier.

But, I went. And I am glad I did. And I am gladder that MOTH is a brilliant and responsible designated driver. Needless to say, I didn't make it to church this morning.

I think that's about all I can muster right now. Tis the season, right?
