Hello loyal readers, and thanks to most of you who were patient while I hid, rested, worked, cried, slept some more and generally just enjoyed my time off.

I don't like to copy other people's ideas, but I'm going to with a slight modification. Here are 100 things I did while on my diaryland hiatus:

1. I designed a diary for cubsfan4life ELDEST, and FINALLY added a notify list to it.

2. I got the flu, and gave it to the school and all my family at home. Sorry! :-)

3. Slept. A LOT.

4. Lent (gave) my digital camera to cubsfan4life ELDEST, rendering me imageless.

5. Reformatted my hard drive, thus losing most of my programs and files.

6. Grew claws (read: had acrylic nails applied..a post of its own)

7. Worked late almost every night.

8. Re-arranged my living room.

9. Actually put out some Halloween decorations!

10. Rented, yes RENTED, a Halloween costume (for a party)

11. Told a fellow parent that his 1 year old son is rumored to be on heroin.

12. Began the long process of possibly getting my PhD.

13. Purchased a Maytag dishwasher at this year's BARN SALE (MOTH installed it)

14. Watched E! almost every single day.

15. Got a new ISP, so now we have digital cable modem (att.bi) instead of dsl.

16. Wept every single day at some point over ELDEST being so far away.

17. Bought cool little cell phones for Eldest and MOTH (I have free service with work, so I don't get a cool phone)

18. Bought a pair of overalls!

19. Turned of the a/c for the season.

20. Took Beast, Jon Bon Jovi's biggest fan, out to get his new CD on the day of its release.

21. Took a trip to the local BIG pumpkin farm and bought a 48 pound pumpkin.

22. Cleaned my kitchen.

23. I quit the church choir.

24. Bought new garbage cans at the Grand opening of our new SUPER TARGET!

25. I got a new digital bastard (more on that in the days to come).

26. Went to the grand opening of Joey Buona's Pizzeria and Beef. And may I say, it is WORTH the trip, and it was wonderful that it was free, but I'd PAY to go there again! If you go to the "Locations" section of this Buona Beef site, and choose the Chicago location, you'll see the building which is where Gino's East used to be. It's spectacular, and even if I never get any compensation for this tribute, I stand by my words.

27. I read all of my daily diary friends: cosmicrayola (get well soon, sweetie!), mkm (you know, it's SO rude to talk about sunburns in California when we are into hard-core autumn here in Chicago!), meganlala (congrats on making the oddgoogle post!), unclebob (I am finding him harder and harder to read, I wish he'd kill his dog, ban all of relatives from ever visiting his house, and tell his wife to pitch in or leave, but that's just me), billf (you work too hard for those kids!), adwhore (GOD I love porno!), aimee218 (man, I thought I was a handful as a teenager!), cleopatragb (ew, don't talk gallbladder, I am ignoring all those symptoms!), johnniev (I'm waiting to find out what's changing at work, and what being "on the bus" means), and of course ELDEST'S, my favorite (next to MOTH'S), cubsfan4life.

Geeze. I can't think of 100 things I've done. And frankly, if I could, I don't think I trust that anyone would be interested enough to read all 100. So you'll have to do with 27, one for each day of my silence.
