Who Turned Out The Lights?
Today's weight: 201 pounds Original Weight: 212.5 Total loss: 11.5 pounds
Gee! I'm watching the news and it looks kinda dark out there in the East. At first, with the views from the choppers, it looked like a mass exodus, riots and panic. But then they got some closer views and it actually looks like people are WALKING and not panicking! I didn't see any pushing. I didn't see running. The mayor just spoke and sounded logical, like don't panic, unplug the major appliances, walk don't run, try to keep cool, and the best line, "Try not to make a problem out of an inconvenience."
I have to say that's a damn fine message.
I hope the Easterners do us proud. I was proud of the way the country pulled together following 911, and I'd like to see it again. It kind of restores my faith in people, ya know?
