Cherries A-Poppin!
You know, at my age there aren't many cherries left to pop. Not many "firsts," if you know what I mean. But on our anniversary, I had a first. I sent a dozen roses (and a great big embarassing red heart shaped balloon) to MOTH at work. I knew it had arrived when he called and said "I am going to beat you." Ooooh yes, please!
In the background I could hear the place was all abuzz. Goodness, you'd think that something spectacular had happened. Little did I know it HAD! I not only popped my cherry on this, but MOTH's too! He never had flowers sent to him before (not counting hospital flowers) and certainly never received a dozen roses before. HOO HAH!
I also had a loverly delivery at work. I beautiful flower arrangement, roses and snapdragons. Alice says in one breath, "I ain't mad at you," but in the next sentence says "I don't like you anymore!" But she does. She LOVES me, and she is happy for me, cuz she is one that has seen me through all of the crap in my life. She and Pitbull.
Ok, late for work, but I wanted to sahre the news. MOTH is no longer a rose virgin.
