Ibe A Sleepless Drip
Somebody PLEASE put me out of my misery. I haven't slept 3 hours in the last three days. I have come to learn that breathing is an essential act that we take for granted. Now that nature has cemented my sinuses up, I realize what a gift breathing is.
I came home sick on Monday with a sinus headache. I had to call in sick on Tuesday and Wednesday while I kepy myself doped up on Sudafed and Nyquil (screw Dayquil, I need to SLEEP!). All it does is knock me out for a bit, but I awaken when I can no longer breathe. I toss from side to side draining one sinus cavity into the other.
My nose is raw, I have blown through 2 boxes of tissue.
DID I MENTION THAT I CAN'T SLEEP?
So, do I call in for a third day, knowing that if I go I will be able to do nothing more than sit at my desk and stare at my walls in an oxygen deprived, drug induced stupor? Or, do I go in as a show of good faith and piss everyone off by exposing them to this nightmare of what some would jokingly call a "cold?"
Pitbull would kick my ass if I came in this sick.
Looks like a full day of the Robert Blake trial for me (again). Looks like he could use some sleep too.
