I'M 30!!!!!!
Pounds lighter, that is. Only 10 more to go until I am half done. Ohh. I shouldn't have thought of it that way. That makes it seems dismal. On the other hand, in 10 more pounds I'll have reached my second 10% goal, so that's better.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The SAP FEST continues. Tents have been put up. Mariachi bands have played. Looked like another permanent shrine was being constructed yesterday. Several ladders were up in the trees so that fresher flowers could be placed on higher and newer "sightings." Poor saps.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The WASCALS, apparently tipped off by someone reading this page, have offered a truce. Either that or the giant trap became too real. At any rate, no sightings in the last week or so. The same cannot be said for the freaking squirrels who dig holes in my front mulch until it looks like a mine field. And due to the excessive heat, my back lawn has grown to where the bunnies have complete anonymity. Won't they be rudely surprised one of these days.
IN OTHER NEWS:
ELDEST, just back from his trip to Minnesota, has gone BACK there already with my nephew to go to a White Sox game. Yeah, I know. It's crazy. But he's 18, and he leaves for college in a few very short weeks. This is time in a kid's life when they are SUPPOSED to travel across the country to see their hometown baseball team play. Right?
IN OTHER NEWS:
Baby sister gets married this Saturday. I'm thinking that we'll be staying overnight in one of them fancy hotels. Actually, her reception is at a hotel, and we figured this way, if we want to stay late and drink (right) or talk (likely), and the kids want to split, they can! And no NAGGING! :-) Ain't that a good idea? On the other hand, if they are having a gas dancing, and we want to get out, WE can. And no NAGGING! I think we all win on this one.

Oh hell, there isn't any other news. I'm late for work, and that's not news.
