Heh... I saw a pic of Carnie Wilson in the Star where she had gained back a lot of her weight but couldn't find any more info on it. What the hell could have happened? She was doing so well! I find it really discouraging that people in the public eye like Carnie and Oprah still struggle so much. What better motivation could there BE to look good, than knowing the entire country is watching you and just waiting to make you the butt of a bazillion jokes? Anyway, I feel your pain, truly I do. I took my ass over and signed up for the gym at lunchtime today... then had pizza for supper. *sigh*

Yeah I heard about Ms. Phillips. Howard Stern was snickering about it. Its clear he was never fat. But he's the exact opposite of normal on this. He thinks people should be emaciated. And he's not enjoying one bit of his life. We could all stand to lose a few hundred pounds Ibe. I won't even tell you how bad I am at the moment. But my 8 pound loss in Japan was a good idea about how messed up I am. If I was Pooh, I'm stuck in the Rabbit hole.

Who the hell invented a 'body image' anyway?? We hear so much about people going to great lengths to get skinny b/c they have 'distorted body images'...I'm gonna invent a mirror that makes us all look 50 pounds lighter...wheeeee!! And by the way Ibe, even if you WERE 50 pounds lighter, people couldn't love you any more than they already do!!!

In my humble opinion, as long as a doctor hasn't told you you are unhealthy and your hubby loves you, give yourself a break. Fat, skinny, pretty, homely. These are ajectives. They are not people. You know what I see when I look in the mirror? I see someone who is overweight, not beautiful and not probably the best looking gal that hubby could land, but know what? I am funny and bright and some people love me, most of all my husband and my family. And you know what else? That's enough! Do I like how I look. Not really. Does my family? Believe me when I say this. They don't give a hoot what I look like! Ease up on yourself!
