Going forward or going back? Its all a big circle anyway... Insert joke for "The Circle of life". You're a big girl. CD player for the car. YOu shouldn't listen to talk radio anyway, it will rot your teeth from the liquid brains dripping out of your head. Seriously. You can't go backwards to music, only forwards. Its what's kept Neil fresh. When he goes 'back' its to say something new. And he says it in a new way. I'd kill to see Blood Sweat and Tears in 1972 all over again. Or CSNand Y in 1974. But you can't go back. Remember what Neil said about that. "An Ambulance can only go so fast, can't make no trips to the past." Ever wonder what the hell was going on with him during On the Beach anyway? Breaking up with Cary. As long as we're on the long strange trip, how about Chicago a decade after they hit. When they became routine album and Las Vegas playing money machines. Then out comes an album with a gem. "Wishing you were here" Beach Boys on vocals. Pet Sounds, how would Smile have really been if Brian hadn't gone kablewie and the album went in the tank? The best Who album was Who's Next, but Pete Townsend hates it because it was the bones of a project that failed plus some other songs. No, I don't write behind the music. Its interesting that some geniuses hate their best art. Me, I really don't like Tommy. And Quadraphenia is just alright. The Who were a rock and roll band with a songwriter who wanted to create art. No wonder they fought. No one is stopping you. If you like, I'll make some suggestions. I'll listen to a few suggestions myself.

I love, "What if God was one of us?" (And I love Joan of Arcadia? I also love "That's Who I am" from Sue Thompson, Private EYE" You mention the Cranberries. Would it be everything by them? I am asking because I saw them on Charmed and loved the song they sang. It was "Just my Imagination" I wnet online to see what else they sing, but nothing tripped my trigger. Now my style. But ya, I like a bunch of singles too.
