2004 is closing soon and we have the hope of a new dawning, a year that we can dedicate ourselves to the good things that we can do...and dwell on. Despite all the terrible things that have occured this year in all our lives, we can still know that Christ is Lord. Simplistic? ...perhaps. But hope can come from knowing that with the Lord on our side, who can stand against us in the long run. Share your joy today with those who you love and pray that Christ comes soon. Peace.

Hey , i just read your story about how Carol passed away (yesterday i think?), i mean how very sad...it sounds like you are taking it well. Cancer....man up until this year, I mean i know that many people in the world have it but i didn't know anyone who did (excluding family members) until a University classmate of mine unexpectedly died last summer. So it was quite a wakeup call. You really brought back memories for me of that first adult who takes you seriously and makes you feel like they look at you as an equal, not a kid who can't be chatted with in an 'adult' way- don't we all go through a phase (age 14 maybe?) where we think our families are such losers and that there are so many cool moms out there in the world that we wish were ours. So it's great that you had Carol for that super crucial time when you needed her most, and I also feel that she'll know how you felt, and understands why you couldn't really visit as much when she was sick.
I believe that your wealth is your health, so take care, and may 2005 be a great year for you!

I spent most of last year in treatment for breast cancer, and I'm fine. I still take it personally when someone dies; they were supposed to get better. May your hurting be healed with time.
