I don't know if you still read me regularly, but I told a tale a few months back of pissing someone off. There were two seperate bids on two pair of identical drapes. I only needed one. Someone was bidding on both. Like you, I waited until the last few seconds and won one of them. She/he was left with one. Yup, bet that pissed 'em off. First rule of ebay bidding: "Never bid on two seperate items if you really need them both, cause sure as hell, you'll be left with only one every time." (I am such a weenie.)
