Too weird, but I too am experiencing the terror that is the nearly-grown child tonsillectomy. My kiddo is having hers out the 5th. Her doctor looked at her for all of about 30 seconds before declaring hers needed to come out. Glad everything went ok, and BOOOOOO to the doc for scaring the shit out of you. Hope she feels better soon.

My sympathies; I had a similar experience, but that was so long ago it shouldn't happen any more. Hope she's feeling better -- and that you feel the some of the weight off your shulders.
