Going Back
Yes, it is that time of year. However, this year, not only does this mean the kids at our school are coming back, but also....are ya ready....?

Yes, this aged piece of pork is having a go at a second Master's Degree, this time in School administration. Why would I face the humility of returning to the grind I left behind 25 years ago? Well, for one thing, I think it would be a kick in the ass for kids to be sent to Pincipal Ibe's office when they got in trouble!
Today was the first day of my 18 month adventure. (Yes, in just 18 months, I can get this degree by going to school "just" one night per week and taking "just" one class at a time. And each 8 weeks is the equivalent of 1 semester! I should be nice and gray by the Spring of 2008!) The classes are being held at a nearby high school. Ok, first issue. Can someone tell me when the hell they started putting 87 different entries on school buildings? It really means squat knowing the room number when you have no freaking idea of what door to go in. It's worse when it is pouring down rain and the logical door (that would be the entry marked "#1) is closed due to construction! So needlesss to say, I was a little late, however I wasn't alone.
At least we didn't get detentions.
I would have hated to be sent to the prinipal's office on the very first day!
