Our Little Chickadees
Well, this morning I heard a funny little noise from behind me when I was checking my email. I didn't want to get my hopes up, so I ignored it until I was sure it was coming from one of the nests (actually, the other couple have turned a pink food dish into their little loft, not so much a nest). So I snuck up with a flashlight and waited until Commodore turned to feed them and I could see these teenie tiny little beaks. I think there are 3 or 4, but I can't get a real good look yet, mainly because when I try, huny flings herself against the cage at me and I'd hate for the little chickies to lose thier mom so early, so I'll just back off and see what we got. But we DO have babies! WOO HOO!
